Deputy Director of PRA Services and E-Discovery Counsel

The Deputy will advise on high-level legal issues related to the PRA, help supervise a team of dedicated staff attorneys, paralegals, and reviewers, manage the day-to-day operations of the ARC, work with internal and external clients, and research and set protocols for novel substantive law issues for their municipal clients throughout California. Substantive knowledge of the Public Records Act is required. E-discovery experience and certification are preferred. This position will require travel to client offices and courts throughout those regions. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California. Office location is flexible.

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $145,000 – $175,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
