A leading law firm is seeking a Legal Support Analyst for its Patent Prosecution group, with the position available in any of its U.S. offices, including Mountain View (Silicon Valley), San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, Washington DC, or Boston. This is a full-time, hybrid, non-exempt role supporting the firm’s patent attorneys, agents, and paralegals.

The Analyst will generate patent portfolio and application reports from firm and third-party databases, prepare materials for Information Disclosure Statements, handle formal documents such as assignments and declarations, and file US National Stage (371) applications with the USPTO. Additional duties include monitoring patent deadlines, reviewing the docket daily to flag urgent items, organizing file histories from the USPTO and co-counsel, and drafting and proofreading a range of patent documents and correspondence.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm setting, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and comfort working across databases such as Patricia, Elite, PatSnap, and USPTO Patent Center. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience or relevant certifications will be considered. The anticipated salary range is $68,000–$95,750.
