With more than 20 years of experience in legal recruiting, Dan has built a reputation for providing strategic guidance, honest advice, and a relationship-driven approach that consistently delivers results for both clients and candidates.

Dan brings a unique perspective to C&M Legal Search, having held recruiting leadership roles in agency, law firm, and in-house legal environments. This diverse background gives him a comprehensive understanding of the legal hiring market from every angle. Prior to joining C&M Legal Search, Dan served as an Executive Attorney Recruiter with a national search firm, managed attorney recruiting for one of the largest in-house legal departments in the country, and led the recruiting efforts for a 275-attorney Am Law firm in Washington, D.C.

Dan has built an extensive national network of attorneys and law firm leaders while successfully recruiting in virtually every major legal practice area. He has placed attorneys at all levels—from associates to partners and executive legal leadership—and works with Am Law firms, regional firms, boutique firms, and corporate legal departments throughout the United States. Whether representing clients seeking exceptional legal talent or attorneys pursuing strategic career opportunities, Dan is known for his consultative approach, market knowledge, responsiveness, and unwavering commitment to long-term relationships.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from West Virginia University.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time watching his son play travel baseball and cheering on his daughter at volleyball matches. When he’s not at the ballpark or in the gym, you’ll likely find him fishing or spending time with the family dog, Gideon.
