Our client is seeking a Trademark Paralegal, to support the Intellectual Property Department. The role involves managing various aspects of trademark prosecution, including corresponding with foreign associates, searching trademark registrations, and maintaining and enforcing trademarks. Key duties include preparing and filing trademark applications, drafting responses to office actions and oppositions, conducting research for enforcement, reviewing and revising legal documents, and assisting with copyright filings and trademark-related agreements.

Candidates should have proficiency with the USPTO’s online tools, knowledge of intellectual property filing and prosecution rules, and preferably experience with the Anaqua docketing system. The role requires high attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to work professionally and confidentially with various personalities. Strong organizational skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A college degree, paralegal certificate, or relevant work experience, along with two or more years of trademark experience, is preferred.
