A leading national law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for its Downtown Los Angeles office. The Litigation Paralegal will support litigation attorneys through every phase of a case, from initiation and discovery through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeals. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings and discovery documents for filing and service, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, and documents under seal; conducting fact investigation and development; and managing documents and files. The role proactively manages casework and deadlines, coordinates calendar and docket updates, and supports trial efforts by preparing exhibits and supporting documents and attending proceedings to provide on-site support. The position works in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and requires availability for overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Candidates must have at least 8 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm, an ABA-approved paralegal certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Strong experience with voluminous document productions and e-discovery is required, along with working knowledge of Superior, Federal, and U.S. District Court rules and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional is expected, and experience with TrueFiling, Relativity TextMap, CaseMap, or PageVault is preferred. This is a hybrid role (three days in office, two remote) with a salary of up to $140,000.
