A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and conclusion. The role requires strong cite-checking and Bluebooking skills for court filings, written discovery, and legal memoranda, along with comprehensive case and project management abilities.

Responsibilities include managing assigned cases, organizing physical and electronic case files, maintaining discovery materials, drafting subpoenas, preparing deposition materials, and conducting factual research. The paralegal will assist extensively with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and demonstratives, organizing witness files, coordinating with court personnel and court reporters, and providing on-site trial support. The role also involves knowledge of e-filing procedures, court rules, and litigation software and databases.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and possess litigation trial experience. Experience requirements vary by level: Junior (3–6 years), Mid-Level (5–10 years), and Senior (10+ years). Strong communication, organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, travel for trial, and work overtime when needed.

Salary ranges are $70,000–$85,000 (Junior), $85,000–$100,000 (Mid-Level), and $100,000–$125,000 (Senior).
