The Litigation Legal Secretary role in San Francisco supports the firm's Litigation practice by providing case management and administrative support to attorneys. Key responsibilities include preparing, editing, and filing court documents, managing attorney calendars, coordinating depositions and trials, handling billing and expense reports, and maintaining client files. The candidate will work closely with the firm’s Docketing team to track court deadlines and assist with preparing legal briefs and motions.
The position is hybrid remote, requiring at least two days in the office. Compensation ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience supporting litigation attorneys, with strong knowledge of Federal and State court systems and legal terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and familiarity with legal software like iManage and Aderant is required. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills, be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
