Our client’s Labor & Employment practice seeks an associate with 4-7 years of experience for its San Antonio office. Experience representing employers and management in a variety of employment matters is required, as is experience drafting employee manuals and developing written policies and procedures for employers. Candidates who have experience defending claims including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations will be strongly considered. Strong research and writing skills, including memo writing and drafting of pleadings, is expected. Trial preparation and participation, including discovery, preparing for and taking depositions, hearings, client counseling, and representation before administrative agencies is required.  Preferred candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients at all levels, as well as significant familiarity with Texas employment laws. Admission to the TX state bar is required.
