Intake and Conflicts Specialist

The Intake & Conflicts Specialist is responsible for supporting the firm’s new business intake and conflicts processes by reviewing and validating conflict checks and intake requests, conducting conflicts searches, analyzing and filtering search results, and assisting with the opening of new matters. This role ensures compliance with firm policies and ethical obligations while researching parties and business entities using internal and external resources. Additional responsibilities include responding to inquiries from attorneys, legal assistants, and internal team members regarding conflicts and intake requests, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Candidates should have 1–5 years of experience processing conflicts checks and intake requests using Intapp Open, along with familiarity with legal and corporate terminology related to business entities and structures. Experience with database and corporate research platforms such as Hoovers/Dun & Bradstreet, Bureau van Dijk, or Capital IQ is required, while experience with 3E and iManage is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, and research skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks independently while maintaining a strong customer service approach. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed is also required.
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The regular schedule for this role is 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pacific Time.
