Conflicts Analyst

The Conflicts Analyst will support the firm's New York or Houston offices, focusing on reviewing and processing New Business Intake (NBI) forms, producing conflict reports, and maintaining the firm’s conflicts database using the E-Valuate platform. Responsibilities include generating and analyzing conflicts reports for new clients, matters, and lateral hires, conducting corporate research on parties involved, and resolving flagged conflicts in collaboration with attorneys. The role also involves tracking engagement letters, managing watch lists, assisting in ethical wall implementation, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additionally, the Conflicts Analyst will ensure consistency between the conflicts database and records systems.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and have 3+ years of conflicts research or risk management experience, preferably in a law firm. Knowledge of ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and corporate affiliations is highly preferred. Strong skills in research, communication, analysis, and organization are essential. Familiarity with automated conflicts management systems and corporate family tree research tools is desirable. The role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure. The salary for this position in New York City ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
