This role involves managing a diverse caseload focused on copyright infringement, collections, estates, and creative disputes within the music industry. The attorney prosecutes copyright infringement cases, collection arbitrations, and oversees estate transitions. Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, supervising outside counsel, reviewing ownership documentation, and resolving royalty disputes. The role also involves drafting and reviewing agreements, providing legal counsel to various departments, and supporting strategic company initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses a JD from an accredited law school, bar admission in Tennessee or New York, and at least three years of legal experience—preferably with a background in litigation, copyright law, or the music industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and effectively.

The position requires collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders, legal research and memoranda drafting, and keeping current on copyright and IP laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and occasional travel are expected.
