A leading global law firm is seeking a Conflicts Supervisor for any of its U.S. offices, including Century City, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Candidates must be able to work within the Pacific or Central time zones.
The Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the conflicts team, managing Conflicts Coordinators and Analysts and serving as the primary escalation point for the group. Responsibilities include overseeing the conflict check process to ensure timely, accurate reporting; reviewing and analyzing conflict reports and escalating complex issues to Conflicts Attorneys and the Office of General Counsel; maintaining quality and consistency in conflicts searches; and providing feedback on work quality. The role also involves training new hires and legal assistants on conflicts processes, research methods, and Intapp, working alongside the Senior Training Specialist to build individualized training plans. Administrative duties include timecards, PTO, holiday coverage, and employee reviews. The Supervisor reports to the Manager, Intake/Conflicts.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (JD or paralegal certification preferred), at least six years of conflicts experience with 12 years in a supervisory role, and familiarity with conflicts databases such as Intapp, Dun & Bradstreet, and Aderant. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills are essential, along with comfort in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The annual compensation range is $130,000$160,000, plus benefits including health care, retirement, PTO, parental leave, and performance-based bonuses.
