Senior Conflicts Analyst (New Business) – East Coast

The firm is seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst (New Business) to support the review, analysis, and resolution of conflicts requests related to new business intake and hiring matters. This role is responsible for analyzing complex conflicts requests, conducting legal and corporate research, preparing conflict reports, and identifying potential ethical or business conflicts to ensure compliance with professional responsibility rules and firm policies.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting conflicts reports, drafting conflict waivers and engagement letters, implementing ethical screens, maintaining detailed conflicts records, and communicating directly with attorneys and firm leadership regarding potential issues and resolution strategies. The Senior Conflicts Analyst will also provide regular status updates, support high-volume searches, perform legal ethics research, and assist with conflicts training for attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals.

Candidates should have at least 5+ years of progressive law firm, legal, or conflicts experience, including 3+ years focused on conflicts or legal intake. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing sensitive and time-sensitive matters. Knowledge of ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, California Rules of Professional Conduct, and conflicts software such as IntApp Open and Contract Express is required. A bachelor’s degree, JD, paralegal certificate, or prior paralegal/legal research experience is preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is $93,000–$135,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
