Our client, a leading international law firm with 1,000 attorneys across 12 U.S. and European offices, seeks an Intellectual Property Associate to join its growing practice. The role, based in Boston, Denver, New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Washington, DC, is ideal for a motivated attorney with 2–4 years of post-JD experience in both patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation. The position provides the opportunity to work on high-profile, cutting-edge matters alongside an experienced team of partners and associates.

Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, advising clients on strategic IP portfolio development, and mentoring junior associates. Litigation duties involve conducting pre-litigation diligence, drafting pleadings, performing legal research, preparing expert witnesses, and handling post-grant proceedings such as inter partes reviews. Deposition experience is a plus.

Qualified candidates will hold a JD from an accredited law school and a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (graduate study or industry experience preferred). USPTO admission, bar membership in MA, NY, CA, or DC, and strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills are required. Salary expectations are $235,000-$310,000.
