(Senior) Conflicts Attorney

The Conflicts Attorney/Senior Conflicts Attorney plays a crucial role in managing conflicts of interest across the firm, including new personnel, clients, and legal matters. They are responsible for identifying, reviewing, and reconciling conflicts, as well as maintaining conflict waivers and ensuring compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines. The role involves collaboration with the Conflict Services team, General Counsel, and other firm personnel to facilitate conflict clearance, approval, and ethical compliance. Additionally, the attorney assists in implementing ethical walls and training new staff on professional conduct standards. Qualifications include a JD from an accredited institution, admission to a state bar, and at least two years of experience in conflicts resolution within a major law firm or financial institution. Strong knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, analytical skills, and the ability to handle complex conflicts are essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required to interact effectively across international offices. Experience with transactional conflicts and lateral partner onboarding is preferred. The position may require periodic physical presence at firm offices. The salary range is $150,000 to $240,000, determined by qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
