The Working Attorney Resource Center (ARC) Supervisor oversees workflow and coverage for the ARC teams, ensuring efficient collaboration while providing support to attorneys and legal personnel. Reporting to the Senior ARC Manager, key responsibilities include managing staff schedules to guarantee compliance and adequate coverage, tracking attendance and overtime, and troubleshooting daily operations within the NY ARCs. The supervisor also conducts orientations and mentorship for new legal resource assistants, organizes quarterly meetings, and edits legal documents, such as contracts and motions. Additional tasks involve managing client billings in accordance with firm policies, arranging attorney travel, coordinating meetings, and processing expense reports.
Qualifications for this role include at least five years of legal secretarial experience, supervisory experience preferred, and proficiency in programs like Excel and Word. Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills, be detail-oriented, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The anticipated salary is between $84,000 and $120,000, contingent upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, education, and location.
