About the Role
The Senior Manager of Internal Events is an integral part of the Events team and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing event strategy and event execution for internal events, while working with key stakeholders to define event strategy that aligns with firm objectives. This role will be located in either the New York or Chicago office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.  

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coaching a team of event professionals responsible for designing and delivering best-in-class events
  • Pro-actively managing the entire lifecycle of large-scale events, including defining event objectives, leading planning meetings, checklists, venue sourcing, hotel and vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, attendee communication, registration site development and mobile app, entertainment, activities, décor, transportation, data management, post-event analysis
  • Developing and refining event processes to maximize team’s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Driving initiatives to achieve maximum cost savings and deliver return on investment
  • Collaborating generously across business services to attain alignment across all events and ensure compliance and risk guidelines are adhered to 
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills (e.g., organizing, planning, problem-solving and decision-making) necessary for effective management and strong analytical skills needed for all primary duties of position, including comprehending, analyzing, and communicating data
  • Display organizational skills and project management skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Possess the ability to think creatively and provide strategic support to senior management 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 12 years’ event experience

Pay Range
USD $190,000.00 – USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
