The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding the organization’s networks, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure by leading the monitoring and analysis of security events using advanced tools such as SIEM and EDR. This role involves investigating and resolving security incidents promptly, performing root cause analyses, and collaborating with IT teams to address vulnerabilities. The analyst proactively conducts threat-hunting activities and leverages threat intelligence and vulnerability management tools to identify and patch vulnerabilities, while also developing custom detection and mitigation techniques to prevent exploitation.
The position requires extensive experience in cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of cyber defense practices, information security policies, and attack techniques. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH. The analyst will assist in shaping and enforcing security policies, conduct purple team exercises to identify potential weaknesses, and support the organization’s security posture through proactive measures.
High standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity are essential for handling sensitive firm and client information. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, including participation in an on-call roster for incident response support. The position offers a remote work arrangement, reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Operations, with a salary range of $112,000 to $158,000.
