Senior Conflicts Analyst (New Business)

The Senior Conflicts Analyst is responsible for independently managing complex conflict requests related to new matters and hires, ensuring compliance with ethical and business standards. This role involves analyzing high-volume and intricate conflict reports, conducting detailed corporate research, and interpreting database results to identify potential legal conflicts. The Senior Analyst interacts regularly with attorneys and firm leadership to discuss, resolve, and document conflict issues, draft waivers and engagement letters, and implement ethical screens as needed.

Candidates must possess a deep understanding of legal ethics, especially the ABA and California Rules of Professional Conduct, and demonstrate advanced analytical, research, and decision-making skills. Required qualifications include 5+ years of progressive experience in a legal setting (with at least 3 years in conflicts or intake), proficiency with IntApp Open and legal research tools, and the ability to manage sensitive, time-critical matters. A bachelor’s degree is required; JD or paralegal certification is preferred.

The role offers a salary range of $90,000 to $130,000 depending on location and experience.
