The Professional Development & CLE Compliance Administrator will collaborate with the CLE Coordinator and the Office of the General Counsel to manage continuing legal education (CLE) and bar registration for U.S.-licensed attorneys at the firm. The role involves maintaining a database to track attorney CLE compliance, assisting with CE Manager, and providing customer service regarding MCLE compliance and deadlines. Key responsibilities include administering internal courses, handling applications for course accreditation, and managing attendance records per CLE regulations across jurisdictions like California, Illinois, New York, and Texas.
The Administrator will also oversee pro hac vice records, audit good standing statuses, and assist attorneys with state bar applications. Essential functions include preparing CLE paperwork, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and collaborating with various departments within the firm. Required qualifications include over five years of administration experience within a law or professional services firm, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office, CE Manager, and MCLE systems are necessary. The position supports a hybrid work environment that requires a minimum of three office days weekly, with potential evening and weekend work as needed. The estimated salary range is between $75k-$85k.
