The Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the Practice Group Leaders and collaborating with various teams to manage business operations for the Intellectual Property and Consumer Practice Groups, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic and operational initiatives, managing practice group resources, tracking matter activity, and addressing operational issues to enhance attorney efficiency.
The role involves enhancing internal communication and information flow, preparing agendas, and liaising with administrative departments such as Finance, Business Development, Talent Development, and Knowledge Management to foster seamless operations. Additionally, the Practice Manager serves as a trusted advisor to attorneys at all levels, offering support in personnel issues and resource allocation.
Qualifications required for the position include a Bachelor’s degree, relevant experience in law firm operations, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong financial, analytical, and project management skills. The ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential. The expected base salary ranges from $145,000 to $175,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, certifications, and location.
