Our client is looking for a Docketing Clerk- Trademark to join their busy Trademark team. This hybrid role involves both trademark docketing and providing operational oversight of the practice group, including finance, business development, client relations, talent management, and strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include collaborating with partners to implement administrative practices and strategic plans, accurately docketing correspondence, managing daily deadlines, and ensuring compliance with USPTO and international trademark regulations. The role also involves responding to inquiries, generating reports, conducting research, maintaining a form database, and supporting marketing initiatives.
Additional duties include coordinating client meetings, assisting with budget management, fulfilling educational needs, and maintaining filing systems using NetDocs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3-6 years of experience in a law firm, with a background in trademark prosecution and related fields. Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Aderant Expert, Chrome River, and NetDocs are essential. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with lawyers, staff, and clients is crucial. The expected salary range is $90,000 to $105,000, depending on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
