Our client seeks a Power & Renewable Energy Corporate Paralegal for their Washington D.C. office to aid the Power & Renewable Energy team with complex transactions and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of experience as a corporate paralegal, particularly in Power and Renewable Energy, and will assist partners, associates, and clients with legal tasks, requiring three days of in-office attendance weekly.
Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, managing due diligence, maintaining client files, preparing FERC filings and UCC financing statements, and supporting business development efforts such as client pitches and presentations. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution, with flexibility for overtime and strong communication, technical, and organizational skills. The role necessitates the ability to multitask and work under pressure while interfacing with high-level attorneys and clients. Physical requirements include sitting at a desk for most of the day, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 15 lbs. The position is non-exempt and offers a hybrid work environment, with a pay range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
