Junior-to-Mid-Level Patent Prosecution Associate

Our client is seeking a Junior-to-Mid-Level Patent Prosecution Associate with two (2) to five (5) years of patent prosecution experience. This opening is for their Silicon Valley office or New York office. The ideal candidate would have experience as primary contact for start up clients, including broader IP counseling. Candidates should have an electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or physics background, or equivalent experience. Candidates should have passed the patent bar, and have superior technology background and academic credentials, and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.

The anticipated range for this position is: $190,000 – $345,000

Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.  Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
