The Managing Clerk will lead the development and operations of a newly designed Managing Clerk’s Office (MCO) across all U.S. locations of a large law firm. This role is central to overseeing court filings, procedural compliance, and managing the Court & Calendar team. Responsibilities include supervising multi-jurisdictional court filings, advising attorneys on procedural rules, maintaining calendar compliance, training legal staff, and implementing risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel.
The ideal candidate will have significant prior experience as a Managing or Deputy Managing Clerk/Attorney, deep knowledge of court procedures, and proven leadership in a cross-jurisdictional law firm. The role demands excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to innovation, process improvement, and team development.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification (JD preferred), 15+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in electronic filing and docketing systems. This full-time position offers a salary range of $180,000–$265,000 and includes eligibility for bonuses and a robust benefits package covering health, retirement, family support, professional development, and wellness programs.
