The Manager of Partner Recruiting oversees the recruitment of lateral partners and counsel, working closely with firm leadership to attract and hire top legal talent. Reporting to the Director of Attorney Recruiting, this role manages all aspects of the hiring process, including reviewing candidate submissions, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates throughout the process. Responsibilities include evaluating candidate materials, cultivating relationships with legal search firms, and ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting. Collaboration with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager is key to promoting a diverse candidate pool.

The Manager interacts regularly with firm leaders, develops recruiting strategies, and supports associate recruiting and special projects as needed. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment.

A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment, including three years in partner recruiting, are required. This hybrid role involves occasional light lifting and extensive computer work. Compensation ranges from $115k to $135k, depending on skills, experience, and market factors.
