Our client is seeking a Litigation/Labor & Employment Paralegal for one of their California offices. This role involves assisting attorneys with a range of substantive and administrative tasks throughout the life cycle of cases. Key responsibilities include participating in client and witness interviews, conducting background and public records research, analyzing documentary evidence, managing eDiscovery processes, coordinating with external vendors, preparing legal documents, and organizing trial materials. The paralegal will support attorneys in the courtroom by assisting with hearings and trials, utilizing digital presentation tools as necessary. Candidates should possess strong independent and teamwork skills, excellent organizational capabilities, and communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is required; an ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred, alongside a minimum of five years of relevant law firm experience. Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office, Relativity, and litigation management tools is necessary. The compensation ranges from $85,000 to $140,000 annually, with a target of 1500 billable hours per year, and candidates should be prepared for overtime and occasional travel as required.
