• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas
• 2+ years of defense litigation experience
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Products Liability, General Liability, Personal Injury Defense, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Insurance Coverage
• Experience drafting discovery and motions a must
• Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus
• Superior communication, writing, and research skills
• Legal project management experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions (including expert depositions)
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
