Our client seeks an Associate Attorney for collection and litigation matters. This remote role requires a self-starter with a high volume caseload capability and strong written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Responsibilities include handling breach of contract and collection litigation from demand through judgment, attending court hearings (telephonic and in-person), preparing and arguing Motions for Summary Judgment, managing caseloads to meet goals and client expectations, and handling escalated or time-sensitive matters.

Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in California, with multi-jurisdiction admission in AZ, NV, and FL preferred but not required. Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, strong research abilities, proficiency in software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the capacity to manage and prioritize a large caseload. Problem-solving, organizational skills, a good work ethic, and adaptability are crucial.
