Legal Administrative Assistant – Real Estate

Our client is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant for their Commercial Real Estate Practice Group.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for…

  • Prioritizing assignments and preparing sensitive and detailed correspondence
  • Drafting engagement letters and routine documents; assisting with document production 
  • Scheduling appointments, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, and maintaining business calendars 
  • Showing a strong sense of ownership and integrity when reading, prioritizing, and following up on client communications.
  • Coordinating with billing attorneys on all monthly billing processes
  • Performing related general office duties such as monitoring and ordering standard office supplies, and collating, assembling and distributing documents

The successful candidate will demonstrate…

  • Three to five years related work experience; including experience supporting a real estate practice group
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including advanced use of MS Word (including redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, TOA creation and manipulation, and hyperlinks)
  • Proficiency in the use of document management systems (iManage preferred)
  • High level of communication skills requiring social sensitivity and willingness to gain extensive knowledge of department procedures in order to communicate effectively with staff, management, attorneys, and clients
  • Must be a problem solver, ability to work independently, prioritize, display good judgement, and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills; very detail oriented
