The IP Conflicts Analyst is responsible for managing conflicts of interest related to intellectual property (IP) matters. This role involves analyzing conflict requests, conducting patent-related research, and preparing detailed conflict reports. Key tasks include processing new IP requests, identifying subject matter overlap, conducting corporate research, and ensuring compliance with professional conduct rules. The analyst collaborates with firm partners and attorneys to resolve potential conflicts and drafts conflict waivers and engagement letters when necessary. They also assist with internal training on conflicts issues and stay updated on legal trends.
Required qualifications include proficiency with IntApp Open or similar programs, 2+ years of experience in conflicts or IP-related work, and knowledge of legal ethical guidelines. Preferred qualifications include a degree in chemistry, biology, or engineering, and experience with IP conflict resolution. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $35 to $46, along with benefits like medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and parental leave. The role may also require occasional overtime.
