The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Operations Supervisor oversees a team responsible for managing access controls, user permissions, and account administration within a firm. Key duties include managing the entire user lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance controls, and refining service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role requires collaborating with IT security, engineering, and service management teams to optimize user access processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency. The supervisor also supports access monitoring, cybersecurity reviews, and designs escalation protocols for incident management.
Candidates should have over five years of IAM experience, particularly in a regulated or professional services environment, along with expertise in technologies like Microsoft AD and Entra ID. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as the role involves managing a high-performing team and interacting with technical and non-technical staff. A college degree in a relevant field is preferred, with a focus on IAM concepts, user provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
The role is hybrid, based in Washington, D.C., with core hours of 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Salary ranges from $98,000 to $138,500.
