Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for a wide range of human resources activities for both lawyers and staff, including employee relations, strategic planning, policy interpretation, onboarding and offboarding and general coordination for the Silicon Valley office. The Human Resources Manager serves as a consultant to the local Silicon Valley management team on human resources related issues, anticipates various Human Resources-related needs, and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The Human Resources Manager directly supervises the secretarial, paralegal and practice assistant staff and is responsible for the staff performance, personnel practices, policies, and employment laws. The Human Resources Manager will report to the Director of Administration, be a member of the Silicon Valley management team and will assist with various duties as assigned for the management team. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.

California Pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience: $130,000 – $150,000.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, HR certifications desired
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in human resources management or senior human resources generalist experience
  • Law firm and/or professional services experience
  • Strong proficiency with various computer software, including HRIS tools
  • Max. file size: 300 MB.
