The Enterprise Applications Engineer supports the full lifecycle of IT applications for a law firm, from initial planning to deployment, maintenance, and potential retirement of applications. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and customer service to deliver high-quality application support. Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, developing system specifications, designing workflow solutions, and executing thorough testing before deployment. Additionally, the engineer prepares documentation and end-user training, manages application accounts and security, and works with IT support to resolve issues efficiently. The position involves handling enterprise applications, like collaboration and document management systems, within a professional services setting, preferably a law firm.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science or information systems), over three years of relevant experience, and knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, C#, .NET), scripting (e.g., PowerShell), and integration tools (e.g., SSIS, ETL). Familiarity with service desk systems and expertise in managing eFiling for Federal and State Courts are also required. Essential skills include strong troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking abilities. This remote role offers a salary range of $88,000 – $146,000, depending on location and experience, and reports to the Enterprise Applications Portfolio Manager.
