Docketing & Court Services Clerk (DC focus)

The Docketing & Court Services Clerk is responsible for supporting the firm's automated docket and calendar systems for litigation in the DC Metro Area (DMV) and federal courts. This includes data entry, system maintenance, and communication with case teams. Candidates should have at least two years of docketing or litigation calendar experience at an AMLAW 100 or 200 firm, proficiency with the CourtAlert system, and knowledge of DMV and federal court rules. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential. A degree from an accredited U.S. college or university is required, and paralegal experience is a plus.

The role involves managing docket dates, generating reports, and supporting workflows related to scheduling and litigation procedures. The clerk will also evaluate and recommend improvements to current docketing processes, respond to inquiries about court rules and schedules, and provide first-level support for electronic filings and case record management. Additional duties include assisting with general paralegal tasks, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to firm policies. Reporting to the Docketing & Court Services Manager, this remote role requires Pacific Time Zone availability, with a salary range of $66,000 to $100,500 based on experience and location.
