The Docket Clerk is responsible for tracking critical legal deadlines and maintaining the docket and calendar systems for multiple legal teams. Key duties include entering and updating deadlines in docketing software, generating and distributing weekly reports, reviewing and saving incoming filings, and supporting attorneys and paralegals with court submissions. The role also involves preparing calendar updates, handling administrative tasks such as scanning and mailing, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of docketing experience and are proficient with tools like CompuLaw, CourtAlert, and CourtLink. Strong knowledge of court procedures, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. The role is located in New York and offers a competitive salary between $75,000 and $85,000.
