Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Analytics Specialist
Our client is seeking a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Analytics Specialist to join the DE&I team.
Position Summary: The DE&I Analytics Specialist will manage, mine and analyze a broad array of quantitative and qualitative diversity data assets to compile analyses and develop reports to answer client requests, make broad business impact and shape DEI strategy.
Position Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and complete client DEI data requests, questionnaires and reports
- Serve as the department point person and liaise with the marketing department to complete all DEI components of client-issued RFPs, with an emphasis on calculating DEI statistics
- Manage timekeeper self-identification, to include partnering with multiple departments to develop a formal DEI timekeeper onboarding and self-reporting system
- Interface and increase coordination on client matter staffing and reporting among timekeepers
- Proactively track and manage internal communication relating to diversity staffing requirements and goals
- Conduct diversity analysis of timekeeper staffing trends over time
- Monitor diverse timekeeper pitch participation translating to billable work
- Manage data collection and reporting for external certifications and surveys, including Mansfield Rule, ABA Model Diversity Survey, Vault, MCCA, Working Mother, etc.
- Keep abreast of industry DEI trends and best practices
- Utilize external benchmarking tools to monitor the firm’s progress
- Proactively build relationships with different stakeholders across the firm
- All other duties as assigned or required
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Available to work overtime, as required
- Demonstrated understanding of Excel and ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables and advanced formulas, identify and track trends over time and other key metrics as needed
- 2+ years of experience working in a data analysis role
- 2+ years of experience developing summary reports
- Experience with reporting and query tools (i.e. SharePoint, Tableau, Business Objects, etc.), databases and data management
- Demonstrated understanding of Excel and ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables and advanced formulas, identify and track trends over time and other key metrics as needed
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior data experience
- Law firm or professional services industry experience
- Workday reporting experience
- Salesforce CRM experience
- Adept in writing database queries (i.e. SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL) using SQL Developer, etc. and programming (VBA, C#, Python, JavaScript or ETL frameworks)

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $37.00 – $51.00. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
