The Conflicts Analyst plays a vital role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving potential conflicts of interest for new matters and hires at the firm. Using sound judgment and a deep understanding of ethical and business needs, the Analyst reviews conflict requests, conducts corporate research, and generates reports to identify potential issues. Responsibilities include preparing search terms, analyzing data, interacting with attorneys to resolve conflicts, drafting waivers and engagement letters, and maintaining detailed records of the clearance process. The role also involves implementing ethical screens, conducting legal ethics research, and providing training to staff as needed.

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, ideally within a law firm or legal setting, and proficiency with tools like IntApp Open and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of ABA and state-specific rules of professional conduct is essential. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a JD or paralegal certification preferred.

This position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
