The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflicts within a law firm, ensuring that all engagements and hires are clear from ethical and business standpoints. Core duties include analyzing conflict requests, preparing reports, conducting corporate research, and identifying potential conflicts. The analyst communicates regularly with attorneys and partners to discuss conflicts and propose solutions. They must maintain detailed notes, draft conflict waivers, and ensure compliance with legal ethics rules. The role also involves creating ethical screens, staying informed on legal trends, and providing training to staff.
Required qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office and IntApp Open, 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment, and knowledge of legal ethics rules. A Bachelor’s degree or JD is preferred, with a paralegal certificate being an added advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive tasks.
The position offers competitive compensation ($66,560–$88,400 annually) and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO.
