Our client seeks an experienced legal marketing professional with deep knowledge of the energy sector to lead business development initiatives that drive revenue growth and market share. Based in Houston, this firmwide role supports the Energy Sector leadership team with strategic planning, marketing, and client development. The ideal candidate will guide cross-disciplinary efforts across key subsectors like Energy Infrastructure, Energy Transition, Oil & Gas, Power and Renewables, and more.
Key responsibilities include managing external partnerships and events, advising leadership on energy industry trends, supporting strategic account management, overseeing sector marketing content, and identifying business opportunities. The role also involves leading award submissions, crafting compelling messaging, coordinating with internal departments, and tracking performance metrics. The manager will contribute to recruiting strategies, proposal development, and internal database management.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in marketing or business development within energy, legal, or professional services, along with strong communication, financial, and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree and industry contacts are preferred. This is a full-time position requiring office presence at least three days a week, with occasional travel and overtime as needed. Familiarity with legal concepts, CRM systems, and industry research tools is highly valued.
