The Civil Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys with all phases of litigation, including court filings, subpoenas, discovery, case file management, and trial preparation. Responsibilities also include preparing letters and reports, analyzing case documents, researching public records, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and court staff.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of litigation paralegal experience, strong organizational and research skills, and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple cases. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with litigation tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseSoft, PACER, and SC Courts E-Filing) is required. Knowledge of South Carolina and Federal Court Rules is essential. A bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Charleston, SC, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after a 90-day review.
