Our client has an immediate opening for a Billing Coordinator in the Dallas or Chicago office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing all transactions related to requests for pro forma, bill edits and bills including narrative edits, time/cost transfers, hour and value adjustments, unbilled write offs, rate revelations, dividing entries
- Maintain and process electronic bills via a variety of client applications as requested
- Includes budgeting, transaction validation, bill transfer and documentation
- Set up and maintain special client rate tables and bill formats as requested by attorneys
- Work within Excel to format worksheets, create formulas and sort data
- Review and process unbilled write-offs
- Interface with client billing applications via Internet or other file transfer method as required by client
- Assist attorneys and secretaries with billing problems, reports or client inquiries as needed
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports and pro forma as needed
- Assist Billing Manager with special projects and reports as required
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- 2+ years of billing experience in a professional services environment required
- Elite Enterprise experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word & Excel
- Ability to quickly identify issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Understanding of general accounting concepts
- Good communication skills – ability to work with all personnel levels
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Additional Information:
Supervisory Responsibility – This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment – This position operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours – This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel – Little to no travel is expected for this position.
