Assistant Intellectual Property Administrator

The Assistant IP Administrator is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing communications, maintaining the IP docketing system, and preparing reports for clients. Key duties include coordinating international IP filings, managing patent and trademark deadlines, and preparing application submissions to the USPTO and Copyright Office. The role involves drafting various legal documents such as IP assignments, patent applications, and office action responses, as well as conducting trademark clearance searches and due diligence investigations.

Candidates should hold at least a high school diploma (an associate or undergraduate degree is preferred) and have prior experience in an IP role within a law firm or corporate setting. Essential skills include strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent written communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of US and international IP laws are also important. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, as well as familiarity with IP litigation and domain name registration procedures. This is an on-site role, requiring the ideal candidate to work Monday through Friday for 7.5 hours each day.
