Accounts Payable Coordinator

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing invoices and payments while ensuring compliance with firm standards. Reporting to the Controller, this role operates in a team-oriented environment and requires adaptability in a dynamic setting. The position allows for remote work when in-person attendance is not required, but employees must reside in California and be available for meetings or office attendance as needed.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing invoices, verifying financial data, reconciling transactions, and managing vendor accounts. The role also involves tracking and processing employee expense reports, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with year-end reconciliations and 1099 reporting.

Candidates must have 2–3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Aderant Expert software is highly preferred.

The expected salary for this California-based position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set. The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits.
